Freeski Ranking
Freeski World Rookie Rank is now online!
Freeski World Rookie Rank is created using the same criteria and rules as the snowboard and skateboard ranks. The ranking is divided into males and females, and it features two subcategories based on age: grom and rookie.
Starting from this season, for freeski as well, the position in the ranking will be one of the qualification criteria for the World Rookie Freeski Finals.
Qualification Criteria by Rank: the top 20 riders of the World Rookie Rank (top 20 men, top 20 women) and the top 10 riders from the Grom rank will qualify 4 days before the beginning of WRT Finals.
Just as a reminder, the other qualifying criteria are:
– National quota: every nation is entitled to nominate 6 athletes (4 men and 2 women)
– Previous stops: all the riders on the podium of the previous international stops
– Wild Cards: the organization can assign up to 8 wild cards for the final to partner events, teams, sponsors, or individual athletes
– Previous season: all the athletes that were on the podium at the previous edition of the World Rookie Freeski Finals are qualified (if they are still at the age to compete)
