The World Rookie Tour is heading back to Switzerland for the Schilthorn Rookie Fest 2025, set on March 8-9 at Pända Park, Schilthorn in Mürren, Bern. This Slopestyle event is a must-attend competition for young snowboarders and freeskiers looking to make their mark in the freestyle scene.

🔥 Schilthorn Rookie Fest is the LAST CHANCE to qualify for the World Rookie Finals in snowboarding and freeskiing. Don’t miss this final opportunity to secure your spot at the most prestigious event in the rookie circuit!

Who can compete?

The event is open to young freestyle riders born on or after January 1, 2007, and is divided into two competition categories:

• Rookies: Born between 2007 and 2009
• Groms: Born in 2010 or later

The best-ranked riders will earn an exclusive invitation to the World Rookie Finals, where the next generation of freestyle champions will be crowned.

Calling all young snowboarders and freeskiers! The Slovakia Rookie Fest 2025 is set to take place on March 1st, 2025, in Donovaly, Slovakia, as part of the World Rookie Tour. This unmissable freestyle event will bring together the best up-and-coming riders worldwide to compete in Slopestyle disciplines.

A freestyle hub in the heart of Slovakia

Donovaly is Slovakia’s freestyle capital, offering snowboard and freeski enthusiasts an epic playground. The Riderspark at Park Snow Donovaly will host the competition, ensuring a top-tier setup for riders to showcase their skills.

But the event is not just about the competition – it’s also about fun, friendships, and experiencing Slovakia’s stunning natural scenery and local cuisine.

Event schedule & registration

The action kicks off on Friday, February 28th, 2025, with unofficial training sessions, followed by an online Riders & Coaches meeting in the evening (at the following LINK at 19:30). Saturday, March 1st, is the main event day, featuring:

🔹 Official training: 9:00 – 11:00 AM
🔹 Qualification rounds: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
🔹 Finals: 2:00 – 3:00 PM
🔹 Best trick contest: 4:00 – 5:00 PM
🔹 Prize-giving ceremony: 5:30 PM
