The Black Yeti will make a stop in Borovets, Bulgaria. Borovets is the first mountain resort of its
kind, in Bulgaria and on the entire Balkan range. Its origin dates back to 1896, when Kniaz
Ferdinand – Bulgaria’s monarch at the time, had his summer residence and several hunting lodges
built there. Located at Rila, which is the tallest mountain in Bulgaria and on the Balkan Peninsula.

It is located in the Sout-West part of the country and is part of the Rilo-Rhodope massif. With its
highest peak– Musala reaching 2925 m., Rila mountain ranges 6th among Europe’s tallest mountains behind the Caucasus, the Alps, the Sierra Nevada, the Pyrenees and Mount Etna.
Borovets is among the largest Bulgarian ski resorts in terms of length and capacity of ski trails and facilities. It is situated on the Northern slopes of the Musala ridge in the Eastern part of the Rila mountain. Huddled amid the century old pine forests above 1300 m. altitude, Borovets is the perfect place for winter sports and vacation.

Borosport launched the newly built terrain park “Fun Park Borovets”. The park is 250 m long and
has two lanes with different levels of difficulty suitable for both beginners and experts and everyone in between.

The park is situated on the right side of “Popangelov” ski slope after the detour for the Gondola lift and is serviced by “Yastrebetz Express” Quad.

The slopestyle set up for the event will be compact and technical so the fine performance and precise execution of the tricks, will be what the judges are going to be looking for.

The champions will get all inclusive tickets to the World finals in Italy (freeski) and Austria
(snowboard), all the podium riders qualify for the world finals, vouchers and gifts from our sponsors, 2 All-inclusive Tickets to the 2022-23 UK Rookie Fest.
