Madonna di Campiglio is ready to host the Ursus Big Air 2025, the first stop of the 2025/26 World Rookie Tour winter season and an FIS-sanctioned competition. From April 18 to 20, 2025, young snowboarders and freeskiers will gather at the legendary Ursus Snowpark for an epic showdown. This event not only offers the chance to earn FIS, WSPL, and WRT rank points but also serves as the first gateway to qualify for the 2026 World Rookie Finals.
The ultimate Big Air competition in the Alps
The Ursus Big Air 2025 is set to challenge the best freestyle athletes with a massive kicker that allows jumps ranging from 18 to 27 meters, providing the perfect stage for technical mastery and progressive tricks. The event is open to both snowboarders and freeskiers, welcoming rising talents and top riders from around the world.
One key feature of Ursus Big Air 2025 is that having an FIS code is NOT mandatory to compete, making it an accessible but high-level contest. However, only athletes who can confidently hit the 18-meter kicker to the sweet spot are eligible to participate.

At Ursus Big Air 2025, riders will earn:
- FIS points (Snowboard & Freeski)
- WSPL points (Snowboard)
- World Rookie Tour rank points (Snowboard & Freeski)
As the first WRT winter stop, this competition is a direct qualifier for the 2026 World Rookie Finals. The top 3 Rookie and Grom riders (men & women) in both snowboard and freeski will secure their spot for the finals, setting the stage for their path to international recognition.
