The World Rookie Tour continues its global journey with an unmissable stop for all young snowboarders: the X-Jam Rookie Fest 2025, on February 25 at X-Jam Takaifuji, Nagano, Japan. This event represents a unique opportunity for the best-emerging riders to compete internationally and earn valuable points to qualify for the World Rookie Tour Finals.
A high-level slopestyle event
The X-Jam Rookie Fest will be held at the renowned X-Jam Takaifuji, a well-known location in the Japanese snowboard scene for its perfectly designed snowpark, offering a technical and creative slopestyle course. Young athletes will have the chance to showcase their talent on a series of kickers and rails designed to push tricks to the next level.
With a solid reputation as a reference point for freestyle snowboarding in Asia, this stop of the World Rookie Tour will attract riders from all over the world, providing a breathtaking spectacle for all snowboard enthusiasts.
Opportunities for young riders
As with all stops of the World Rookie Tour, the X-Jam Rookie Fest 2025 is not just a competition but also a launching pad for young athletes aiming for a career in professional snowboarding. The best riders will qualify for the World Rookie Finals, where they will have the chance to compete with the top international talents. Because, as always, podium finishers will earn direct access to the World Rookie Finals, which will take place from March 23 to 28, 2025, at Kitzsteinhorn – Zell am See Kaprun.
