The World Rookie Tour is back in Hungary for another epic edition of the Hungarian Rookie Fest 2025! From February 20 to 23, 2025, the Skipark Mátraszentistván will host this exciting slopestyle competition, where young snowboarders can earn their spot at the World Rookie Finals 2025 in Austria.
📍 A Unique Location: Skipark Mátraszentistván
Located in one of Hungary’s most traditional ski areas, Skipark Mátraszentistván is the perfect venue for the event. The snowpark will be set up on slope number 5, offering ideal conditions for rookies to showcase their skills. Conveniently located 113 km from Budapest, the resort is easily accessible from major European cities like Vienna (374 km), Kyiv (1000 km), and Sofia (861 km).
🏆 Path to the World Rookie Finals
The Hungarian Rookie Fest is more than just a competition – it’s a gateway to the biggest youth snowboard event of the season. The top-performing riders will qualify for the 2025 World Rookie Finals in Kitzsteinhorn – Zell am See Kaprun (Austria), where the best young snowboarders worldwide will battle for the title.

📌 How to Register
Registration is now open via LiveHeats and the Hungarian Snowboard Federation. The entry fee is 6000 HUF or 15€ (cash only on-site).
