Get ready for an unforgettable experience at Finland Rookie Fest 2025, hosted at the iconic Vuokatti Snowpark from January 30 to February 2, 2025! Known as a hub for freestyle snowboarding and home to the Finnish Snowboard Academy since 2004, Vuokatti offers top-tier training grounds, two expertly designed snowparks by Schneestern, and a dynamic atmosphere for all snowboarding enthusiasts.
Event highlights
The event includes two main competitions: slopestyle on February 1 and big air on February 2, with categories for Kids, Groms, Rookies, and Open riders. Compete to secure an all-inclusive ticket to the World Rookie Finals in Austria and snag exclusive sponsor goodies!
In addition to the main contests, the fest features:
- trampoline and skate sessions at Vuokatti Super Park.
- SafeShred clinics and Zero+ workshops for safety and performance tips.
- A night rail jam on the slopes—don’t miss the action after dark!

- Entry fee: €25 for one competition, €35 for both.
- Registration: Via LiveHeats or through national federations.
- Transport: Buses are available from Kajaani; taxis cost approximately €100.
- Hotel rooms: €85/night for 1 person, €115/night for 2 people.
- Sport apartments (4 people): €125/night.
- Chalets-apartments (45m², 4 people): €150/night.
