We are thrilled to announce that several of our past World Rookie Tour champions will be participating in the prestigious Mystic Sk8 Cup, taking place this week from 28 to 30 June. This incredible opportunity allows our talented skaters to challenge themselves against some of the world’s top professional skateboarders.
Among the participants are Andres Martin Gramaglia Fusconi, the current World Rookie Skateboard Champion, who clinched his title at the finals in Prague last year, and Abbie Burns, who won the opening event of the tour, the Lanzarote Rookie Fest. Additionally, we are pleased to have Simon Gerber joining the lineup, who has shown exceptional talent during the Swiss stop of the tour, stepping in for last year’s second-place winner who is unable to participate.
The Mystic Sk8 Cup is renowned for its high level of competition and vibrant atmosphere, making it the perfect stage for our rookies to showcase their skills and gain invaluable experience. Our skaters have worked tirelessly to reach this point, and we are confident that they will make the most of this fantastic opportunity.
The event will take place at the iconic Mystic Skatepark, a legendary venue that also hosts the Finals of the World Rookie Tour Skateboard from 27 to 29 September. Known for its challenging layout and vibrant community, the Mystic Skatepark provides the ideal backdrop for high-stakes competition and incredible performances.
In addition to competing, our skaters will embark on the Red Bull Skate Trip, accompanied by our trusted filmer Mone. This trip will not only provide them with the chance to create amazing content but also to bond and learn from each other, further enhancing their skills and camaraderie. As part of the trip, the skaters will also participate in street sessions at famous city spots, skating alongside professional skaters and experiencing the local skate culture firsthand.
Stay tuned for updates and highlights from the Mystic Sk8 Cup. We can’t wait to see our rookies shine on this international stage!
