Coronavirus pandemic has caused many events around the world to be postponed due to a country’s government imposed restrictions; unluckily World Rookie Fest in Livigno, Italy, is one of them and the next edition is postponed to January 2022.
“After 16 great editions of this iconic youth snowboard event, we are really sad to announce that the 2021 World Rookie Fest will not take place.” Stated Marco Sampaoli from the event organization. “We don’t feel safe and fair to run our oldest and largest event in a reduced edition with many limitations to follow and together with Livigno and Mottolino Snowpark we decided to postpone the 17th edition to January 2022.”
