From the 9 th to the 10th of March the best under 18 Japanese snowboarders will gather at the Indy Park Jam to win a qualification spot for the world famous World Rookie Finals in Kitzsteinhorn – Zell am See-Kaprun.
Indy Park Jam’s origins date back to 2002 when the Salt Lake City halfpipe Olympian Michiyo Hashimoto decided to retire and to found a snowboard camp for young riders. Four years later, in the camp started to take place easy entry contests and then organizers also introduced Jam sessions and changed the name of park into Indy Park Jam.
Many Japanese top shredders such as Yuki Kadono, Miyabi Onitsuka, Reira Iwabuchi, the 2018 Oslo X-Games youngest Gold medalist Kokomo Murase and Takeru Otsuka started their carrier at the Indy Park Jam.
