On January 25th and 26th 2014 the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards visited the scenic Actionpark Zillertal Arena for its third tourstop. About sixty riders from all over Europe showed up at Zillertal Arena to compete in the open slopestyle contest on Saturday.

Czech shredder Jan Rovensky took first place on the groms podium, while German snowboarder Martina Zollner won the girls contest and Toms Petrusevics from Latvia was unbeatable in the men´s category. Englishman and Zillertal seasoner Simon Cudlip earned the best trick award and Austrian up-and-coming talent Nico Winkler was rewarded with the title of the “Super Grom of the Day.” Thirty motivated snowboarders did not get undeterred by heavy snowfalls and poor visibility on Sunday morning. Together with their coaches they had a lot of fun shredding powder and park at Zillertal Arena.
Manfred Brandacher and his team from Uniqueparks.com did a great job to provide a nice setup with numerous options. On Saturday, riders from all over Europe nailed down pretentious tricks in the open slopestyle contest. It was Jan Rovensky from Czech Republic who took the top spot on the groms podium, in front of Florian Woerndl from Austria and German ripper Max Gruenwald, who managed to keep the lead in the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour ranking with this result. Nico Winkler from Austria went home as happy “Super Grom of the Day.” Martina Zollner from Germany claimed the title in the girls category. Local Zillertal rider Eva Gruber became second and Agnieszka Rusin from Poland completed the women´s podium.
Toms Petrusevics from Latvia won the men´s contest and left his countryman Arturs Cukunde in second place. Local Zillertal styler Alexander Walch climbed the podium in third place and saved himself the top spot in the overall Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour ranking. Englishman Simon Cudlip won the best trick award with his stylish Cab 450 boardslide 270 out.
All podium winners took home mad-prizes from Ride Snowboards, prize money and shopping vouchers from HOTZONE.TV. The new Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY partner Leatherman sponsored a Leatherman Snowboard Tool for the best trick and groms winner.
Heavy snowfalls could not stop the motivated participants of the snowboard pro coaching sessions on Sunday. Together with their coaches they shredded park and powder at Zillertal Arena all day long, learning new tricks and tipps from Steve Gruber, Klaus Hofmeister and Chris Kroell.
With their participation at Zillertal Arena, all riders collect points for the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Overall Tour Ranking and World Snowboard Tour Ranking. At the very last tour-stop in Mayrhofen a Prince, Queen and a King of the VÄLLEY will be crowned and honored with one of the highly coveted starting spots for the National Championships N.ASA Shred Down Austrian Masters Slopestyle. The Overall Rookie Tour Champion also wins a starting spot for the World Rookie Finals.

The Uniqueparks.com team will make sure, that the Actionpark Kreuzwiese will be maintained daily until the end of the season. Three lines offer endless options for every riding level and all age groups. Various jumps, boxes, SPC tubes and pipelines and the unique wood obstacles are in place in many variations and lengths. The original bag-jump that is particularly well suited trying new tricks with a padded landing.
