World Snowboard Federation delegates from 17 nations and TTR Pro Snowboarding met in Prague to discuss the actions for the upcoming 2013-14 season

Seventeen National Snowboard Associations (NSAs) met in Prague, Czech Republic, for the World Snowboard Federation (WSF) and TTR Pro Snowboarding joint 2013 General Assemblies.
During the joint sessions between TTR and WSF, besides presenting the season reports of both international snowboard organizations, an open session was scheduled where all delegates from National Snowboard Associations and event organizers could exchange topics of common interest.
Workshops and presentations in outbreak sessions included World Snowboard Point List, 1-6 Star level World Snowboard Tour events, Grassroots and Girls Development. An update about the ongoing organization of the 2016 World Snowboard Championships in Yabuli, China, was given by TTR President Reto Lamm. In a panel discussion, the TTR riders’ representative Chas Guldemond highlighted the importance of the two organizations cooperating for the good of Snowboarding: “It is cool that WSF and the World Snowboard Tour (WST) work together. That means more people that support the sport. The cooperation underlines that we want to do the best for the riders: good traveling schedules, best possible events, best possible exposure. We are all in this together”. WSF President Marco Sampaoli explained the Boardfather Concept, a new WSF project for kids recruitment, developed in association with EuroSIMA and Outdoor Sport Valley.
During the General Assembly the new WSF Board of Directors was elected for the upcoming 2013-14 season:

Other sessions included reviews of the WSF competitive season, educational programs, World Rookie Tour reports and future plans, South America development and a revised WSF Statutes was approved by the General Assembly.
