The Sunsitepark Open has successfully established itself as a great slopestyle contest. The Sunsitepark event stands for a fair competition at a unique snowpark, with hot tricks, genuine music and nice people since 2006. Snowboarders and freeskiers battle side by side for titles, prize money, TTR-points and sweet stuff. The contest is arranged in the popular jam session format, that guarantees permanent action for all riders and the crowd.
Riders need to notify in advance on www.sunsitepark.com for a guaranteed participation. Potentially free starting positions can be assigned on site at the race office on contest day. Riders under 16 years have to submit a participation authorization by a legal guardian at the race office. During a two hours qualifying jam session, all riders have enough time to show their skills. The best five snowboarders, freeskiers, rookies and girls of the qualifiying compete at the final in three runs, whereas the best run is valuated, to determine the winners.
