The “Circuito Bichos” will finish with a 1Star TTR slopestyle final in Valle Nevado, Chile, on September 13th 2009, which will be the first competition in the history of the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour to offer TTR ranking points in South America. The best rider from Chilean “bugs” series will get a ticket to the TTR 3Star Slopestyle “Protest World Rookie Fest 2010” held in the legendary Livigno Mottolino Snowpark, Italy.

It’s good to see high quality rookie events in South America. Moreover, local organizers have applied to host a Swatch TTR 3Star “World Rookie Fest 2010 – Freeride Edition”. It is exciting because we have very positive feedback about the quality of resorts and infrastructure.”, says Marco Sampaoli of the World Snowboard Federation.

Fabian Giavio, Director of the Circuito Bichos and member of Anden, the chilean snow sport organization, is satisfied with the development, “We will hold a nice Rookie Fest in South America and we are already working hard on it.
