After the incredible rookie event in Livigno, the next call for the best european youngsters arrive from Neklid in Czech Republic, for the Swatch TTR 3Star slope style “O2 World Rookie Fest” reserved for boys and girls borned from 1st january 1990 and up. Tons of fun, high level of riding, party, avalanche clinics, many gifts and free energy by RedBull will be the main features of this event. The competition will assign 10 free tickets to the Voelkl World Rookie Fest in Austria and 1 ticket for a main TTR event to be announced soon.

The O2 World Rookie Fest in Neklid will be the last european qualification to enter the final stop in Austria (Voelkl World Rookie Fest) where the WSF World Rookie Champion will be nominated and will get incredible prizes. About World Snowboard Federation and World Rookie Tour: from rookie to pro system
World Snowboard Federation (WSF) is a non profit international organization that takes care of the snowboard promotion at every level thanks to a network of more than 30 countries worldwide. The World Rookie Fest’s were born in 2003 in Norway, collecting the inscriptions of the most promising athletes from all over the world. The WSF World Rookie Tour 2008, in addition to the THREE(3)STAR World Rookie Fests, include other Rookie Events at ONE(1) STAR and TWO(2) STAR level in Europe, Asia and North America while in South Hemisphere the Australian Junior Series are already completed. All together the WSF rookie events will realize the WSF World Rookie Tour 2008. All these competitions will ensure results valid for the TTR ranking and WSF is working on a special World Rookie Rank, which will let nominate the World Rookie Fest Champion, based on the results at the last event in Ischgl (AUT), on 19th April 2008. The World Rookie Fest Ranking is a ‘work in progress’ concept. In development, organizers will to schedule meetings and presentations designed to develop and official calendar, criteria and general rules for a World Rookie Tour and World Rookie Ranking in the near future.

Entry fee 70 € for skipass, event registration. Around 25 € for day accommodation with breakfast and Dinner (Final prize depends on kind of hotel. Maximum is 30 €). 40 € deposit for the bibs. Everything to be paid cash at Race Office on first day.
Accomodation Organizing Committee and Neklied Touristic Office will provide housing for riders and coaches included in the inscription rate of 145€. Registred riders, crew, coach will receive your booking details by mail or directly at the race office.

Judging Will be accomplished by official headjudges and snowboard experts.

TransportationA shuttle service is avaible from Prague airport to Neklid. Van transport for five persons cost 200 € for both way. If you want to pick up from Air Port you have to send number of persons date, time and code of your flight.

Riders will be devided in 2 age groups: born before/over 1993
Only riders from WSF member nations are admitted
National secretary or national coaches are allowed to send their riders inscriptions
No limits in the number of riders from each nation admitted at the event
